Ever since I can remember I have had a keen interest in the how and why of the mind.

Why do we do the things we do? How can two people have an entirely different interpretation of the same event? Why is it so hard to change our habits, even though we know we should? Why do so many people struggle in life, failing to find fulfillment, and others prosper?

I had never been able to satisfactorily answer these questions. It was only when I began to learn to trade the stock market, that it became evident to me that our pre-existing beliefs and values can make the difference between success and failure, both in trading and in life.


Furthermore, it became obvious with a detailed analysis of my own values and beliefs, that many had simply been absorbed and learned from others. 


Throughout our lives, the influence of our parents and caregivers, religion, culture, teachers and friends all have an enormous influence on the way we perceive things, think and behave.


It was during this time that I was introduced to Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). NLP has been the instrument that has explained to me so much about how our brain and mind works; why we do the things we do and how we can make profound and transformational changes in our lives by changing the way we think.

In essence, NLP is a powerful tool to re-train your brain.


This has proved to be especially beneficial to me since my diagnosis of a serious health condition in late 2020. NLP has had a significant impact on how I deal with the psychological and physical trauma of illness and in developing strategies and goals to help me deal with these.


During this time, it has become increasingly evident to me that a different approach to the management of illness is required. Despite amazing research and medical breakthroughs, state-of-the-art equipment and availability of medical practitioners, we are living in a society where acute and chronic illness impacts the lives of everyone.

This has developed within me, a strong desire to help people with cancer, or other serious health issues, to build their own personal strategy to manage physical and mental wellbeing, address behaviours or habits that could potentially sabotage their efforts, and find meaning and purpose in their life.


As a certified NLP practitioner, I’m able to help anyone who is ready to start the transformational journey to self-empowerment, awareness, and a new and different way to think and live.
