Five years ago, I could barely get out of bed. My stomach was in constant knots; I felt sick at the thought of going to work, and I felt fearful at the mere thought of my future. I was in a constant state of anxiety and overwhelm.
I knew I was capable of creating an amazing life, and I had everything I needed including a nice car, a great house, a fulfilling job, and great friendships. But something was missing and I didn't know what it was or how to figure it out. Then I discovered a secret that completely changed my life.
I learned how to retrain my brain from destructive thoughts and erase my old obsessive-compulsive negative thought patterns. I noticed an IMMEDIATE difference. I learned that anxiety is a stress response that is activated in the brain, and each time I encountered a stressful situation, I triggered an anxious response based on how I'd felt in the past.
This method taught me to redirect my brain away from destructive patterns, wiping away old, negative thought cycles. Understanding that anxiety was a stress response generated by past experiences was a game changer.
